Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • Expressed interest in receiving e-newsletters

  • Expressed interested in receiving information about events, workshops, using our space and/or arts programmes

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

  • Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting info@firstfloorspace.co.uk

  • We need it to perform a public task.

  • We have a legitimate interest.

 

What we do with the information we have:

We use the information that you have given us in order to send out relevant information about our programmes, events and workshops or if you have signed up to our e-newsletter.

We may share this information with Croydon Arts Store partners.

 

How we store your information:

All our personal data is restricted in our offices. Only committee members of First Floor Space are granted access to such information. Please note that although all precautions are taken to keep data kept securely, no data transmission over the internet can actually be guaranteed to be totally secure.

We keep email addresses and telephone numbers for as long as the information is relevant and has not been asked to be removed. We will then dispose your information should it no longer be relevant to us or on request by permanently deleting it from our online databases and paper files.

We keep our policy under regular review, and we will place any updates on this website. This policy was last updated on 27th September 2019.

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
