Resident Artist Alex Harwood would like to invite the First Floor Space community to take part in a collaborative project based around his digital storytelling practice.

 

A digital story combines various media and artistic practices including; creative writing, storyboarding, sound recording, visual/digital arts, photography/videography and video editing, to produce a 2-3 minute video typically of autobiographical content.

 

Alex's work aims to provide participants with a creative platform in which to reflect, empower and express themselves by having their voice heard and telling their own stories. This project encourages participants to reflect upon their individual journeys and experiences during the Covid-19 crisis and the impact of lockdown, to create a series of permanent documentary snapshots capturing the mood of the First Floor Space community during these difficult times.
